7 Simple Changes That Will Make A Big Difference With Your Best Twin Buggy

The Best Twin Buggy

Created to grow with your family This inline double comes with different seating options and can be used for twins or children of various ages. The tires are filled with foam and will not flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for kerbs.

It folds flat and is in compliance with the weight requirements of airlines gate-checks which makes it easy to carry. It also includes a large storage basket under the seat, and the sun canopy is four panels.

Leclerc Influencer

With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is a great alternative for those who fly. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. It is slightly bigger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it conforms to the hand luggage requirements of airlines. It can be stored in overhead lockers on flights (subject to airline approval). It was easy to clean with the aid of a wipe, and there were plenty of other items like nappy nappy, footmuffs and buggie organizer bags that clip onto the handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.

It's easy to move up and down stairs, and it can fit into tight spaces like narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace home. The bumper bar can double as a carry handle and there's an enormous, flip-flop-friendly brake with a color-coded indicator. The basket is a little smaller than other models however it's large enough to take an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are additional tray for snacks, drinks and toys.

It's suitable for babies from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children there's a clever backrest that nearly flattens, making it ideal for nap times or extended walks. The 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It's also light at 6.6kg and comes with a travel bag.

Joie Evalite Duo

The British brand Joie has a mission to "share joy with new parents" by designing pushchairs that are "functional and stylish, as well as innovative". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's most recent offering. It is designed to carry two children at a time in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that lets both children experience the world at once.

The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for kids available. It's suitable for babies from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to drive, ride, lift and fold and the frame expands in width to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it can be put together. However, they did observe that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps as compared to other models.

They also note that the front seat does not fully recline and they had to utilize their hands to bring it back down which they don't want to be forced to do when traveling with young children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that could be improved upon with a few tweaks. They love how compact it is when folded.

iCandy Peach

iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they require. It's compatible with a wide range of car seats, and folds effortlessly by using a single-click mechanism. It also comes with plenty of accessories that other brands will charge separately, such as rain covers and liners.

iCandy Peach is a favorite for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its chic and contemporary jersey fabrics. The 2022 model of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks to improve the performance and function without sacrificing aesthetics.

The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It's also a bit smaller than the previous Peach models, but that doesn't stop it from providing the space you could require for your child.

This is the perfect double stroller for you If you are looking for something elegant and versatile. It can be used as a single pram right from birth and then buy a double kit to turn it into a  twin stroller . It comes with a large basket as well as five reclining positions to ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also features a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. It's heavy to store, particularly since it folds into two parts instead of one.

iCandy Orange

This is the top twin buggy you can get. The seats can be outfitted with footmuffs and liners to keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot is simple to attach using the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seats and carrycot.

The wheels are designed to withstand rough surfaces and pavements. There is also a large shopping basket, which is perfect for large supermarkets. The pushchair is smooth to drive, with a light feel and the rounded pedal brake is simple to use (but it's not flip-flop-friendly). It's not easy to fold as the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to open. After it's folded the front wheels fold into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.

The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who appreciate style and have a toddler or baby or both. They're looking for a stroller which will adapt to their child. It's also a good option for parents who are expecting another child in the near future who want a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it should last for a while and have a high resale price too. It also comes with a buggy board, which will help to reduce sibling squabbles over seats!

Mountain Buggy Duet

Established by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand to concentrate on all-terrain dual pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered around narrow aisles for shopping and through doors. It is one of the most compact, full-featured double buggies on the market and has won many awards, including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.

The seats are narrow enough for children of different age groups to be able to sit comfortably and the seats are reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with flip-out sun visors, and the storage basket has plenty of space. It is compatible with nearly all brands and can accept two car seat adapters for infants when you purchase car seats.

The only issue is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk, and could be difficult for Grandma to manage. And, it is more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. It is built to last, and comes with a variety of advantages for the money. It's a great option for urban parents who don't want to carry around a heavy stroller. The padding of the harnesses and the 5-point buckle ensure that it is safe for infants.

Bugaboo Donkey Twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish, functional design. It's a quality product, but not without flaws.

It comes with very few amenities, both for parents and the kids. There's a small side bin in the seat, but it's only accessible when the seat is connected - and that's the only thing it has. There aren't any parent trays cup holders, cup holders or accessory pockets, and this could be problematic for long journeys.

The seats also don't recline to a completely flat position and the gap between them is quite wide which is why our 5 year old was unable to lie back in a comfortable position. This is a shame since it's a top-of-the-line model.

It's simple to maneuver and the swivel-wheel is great for climbing up stairs and slopes. It's also small enough to fit into most doors and folds up easily for storage and transport. Additionally, it can be turned back to mono mode with just three clicks if require more space or need to get away. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled board if you're required to. If you're on budget, there are cheaper options. If you like the brand and are able to afford it, it's well worth the cost.
